The consultation

The consultation in aesthetic surgery is the deciding and fundamental stage in determining the success of the operation.

It allows the patient to expose his or her reasons, wishes and possible fears.

Listening to the patient, the surgeon is able to appreciate the problem posed, to envisage with the patient possible solutions and to explain the stages of the operation :

  • modes of operation
  • type of anesthesia
  • existence of pain
  • duration of hospitalization and postoperative care and return to a normal activity.
