The inner thighs
This area is particularly fragile. The effects of aging or excessive diets have a tendency to provoke skin sagging which sometimes includes fatty surplus.
- If the skin has a good quality : the liposuction will be enough (see page 47)
- If the skin is wrinkled and lax, a lift is needed usually combined with liposuction.
The technique
The excess fat is removed by liposuction. The skin is then put under tension and attached to firm muscle sheaths of the perineum.
The scar is placed in an invisible area such as the pubic crease of the thigh. It has no tendency to extend downward.
- Preoperative tests are required.
- Hospitalization : 48 hours.
- Duration of the operation : 1 and a half hours.
- Anesthesia : either general or epidural.
- Postoperative period : practically painless. Support panties for 10 days.
- Resumption of normal activity : progressively around he 15th day after the surgery.
