Liposuction
Preoperative tests are required.
- Hospitalization : day surgery for small liposuctions, and 24 hours for important ones.
- Duration of the operation : varies for each case.
- Anesthesia : either general or IV sedation (local anesthesia plus tranquillizers), epidural for those below the umbilicus.
- Postoperative period : in general painless, compression is applied (support panties, compressive dressing) for 1 to 3 weeks, in order to help skin retraction.
- Resumption of normal activity : for inner knees, the next day ; for other localizations, 2 to 3 days after the surgery.
Liposuction
Submental liposuction alone (no lifting) has allowed to obtain a perfect angled shape between, the neck and the chin.
Abdominal wall liposuction alone, without abdominoplasty. Three month result.
