Dermabrasion

This surgery consists in erasing skin irregularities, such as fine wrinkles (lips for example), or acne scars.

The technique

It is performed with a rotary millstone. The healing is achieved in one week without crusts, leaving a pink skin that will pale gradually.

It is to be noted that on fragile tissues such a s the upper lip, dermabrasion will have to remain superficial to avoid a certain paleness of the skin.

  • Hospitalization : day surgery.
  • Anesthesia : local or IV sedation (local anesthesia plus tranquillizers).
  • Postoperative period : painless : healing without crust in one week.
  • Resumption of normal life : with a light make-up, 8 days after the surgery.
